Why don't my iPhone photos have GPS already?
Location Services may be off for the Camera app, photos may have been AirDropped (which strips GPS by default for privacy), or they were exported as "Most Compatible" from Photos. Bulk geotagging adds the coordinates back.
Do I need to convert HEIC to JPEG before geotagging?

Will geotagging affect my Live Photos?
