Geo-Tag-It is an online photo tools platform that provides the following services:
• Photo Geotagging: Add GPS coordinates and location data to digital images by embedding EXIF metadata, with support for single and bulk processing.
• EXIF Viewer: View detailed EXIF metadata embedded in your photos, including camera settings, GPS coordinates, and reverse-geocoded addresses.
• EXIF Remover: Strip EXIF metadata from images to protect your privacy before sharing.
• Image Resizer: Resize images to custom dimensions while preserving quality.
• Saved Locations: Save and manage frequently used locations with address search for quick reuse.
• Address Autocomplete: Search for addresses powered by OpenStreetMap/Nominatim to automatically populate GPS coordinates.
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• Upload images that violate any laws or third-party rights
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
The Service supports common image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC/HEIF. HEIC/HEIF images are automatically converted to JPEG format on your device during processing. All processed images are output in JPEG format to ensure maximum compatibility.
Geo-Tag-It offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Free accounts have usage limitations, while Pro subscriptions provide unlimited access and additional features.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscription fees are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
The Service relies on the following third-party providers:
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: Used for address autocomplete and reverse geocoding. Your address search queries are sent to Nominatim's API. Use of this data is subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation's policies.
• Stripe: Used for secure payment processing.
• Supabase: Used for authentication and data storage.
You retain all rights to the images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your images and only process them to provide the requested service (geotagging, EXIF viewing/removal, or resizing).
The Geo-Tag-It service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
Uploaded images are automatically deleted after processing and are never stored permanently on our servers.
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Geo-Tag-It from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is incorporated.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "last updated" date.
