Three common reasons: (1) edited photos lose GPS when re-exported from Lightroom or Photoshop, (2) GPS drift on long flights creates inaccurate coordinates that need correcting, (3) indoor or manual flights with GPS off produce photos with no location data.
Can I bulk geotag DJI DNG RAW files?
DNG natively supports EXIF GPS, but workflow varies. The safest bet is to geotag the JPEG sidecar (DJI shoots JPEG+DNG together by default) or convert DNG to JPEG first, then bulk geotag.
How do I get a GPX from my DJI flight log?
