How to get a PDF under 5 MB for email
Turn on Aim for a target size and enter 5. The tool tries increasingly stronger settings until your file fits, then downloads it. If it cannot get under your target without becoming unreadable, it keeps the closest result and tells you the final size.
Scanned documents and PDFs full of photos compress the most. Text-heavy PDFs are often small already — if yours barely shrinks, try the Extreme setting or Grayscale.
